Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu

Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, our representative will greet you and transfer you to your hotel. You can rest or explore the local market. In the evening, meet your tour guide and enjoy a welcome dinner with traditional Nepalese cuisine. Overnight at a 3-star hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 2 Kathmandu Sightseeing

After breakfast, visit Swayambhunath Stupa, also known as the “Monkey Temple,” perched atop Kathmandu Valley. Explore the massive gold-plated Vajra ‘thunderbolt’, Sleeping Buddha, and Dewa Dharma Monastery. Continue to Kathmandu Durbar Square and Patan Durbar Square, both filled with ancient palaces, temples, shrines, and rich cultural heritage. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3 Visit Bouddhanath Stupa and Stay in Dhulikhel

After breakfast, visit Bouddhanath Stupa, one of the largest stupas in Nepal, followed by a visit to Kopan Monastery, founded by Lama Yeshe and Lama Zopa Rinpoche in 1970. Meet senior lamas, receive an orientation on Buddhism, and enjoy a peaceful meditation class. Return to the hotel for the evening. Overnight in Dhulikhel.

Day 4 Hike to Namobuddha and Return to Kathmandu

Drive or hike through pine forests to Namobuddha Stupa, an important Buddhist pilgrimage site offering stunning views of mountains, valleys, and terraced fields. Explore the ancient monastery and enjoy the tranquility. Return to Kathmandu and stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 5 Fly to Lumbini

After breakfast, take a 30-minute flight to Lumbini, a UNESCO World Heritage site and the birthplace of Lord Buddha. Visit the Sacred Lumbini Garden, Maya Devi Temple, Ashoka Pillar, and various Buddhist monasteries and temples. Overnight in Lumbini.

Day 6 Drive to Pokhara

Early morning, drive to Pokhara. After refreshing, enjoy boating on Phewa Lake and attend a meditation class to relax your body and mind. Explore the lakeside, colorful bazaars, and coffee shops. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 7 Sightseeing in Pokhara

Drive to Sarangkot early in the morning for a stunning sunrise view over the mountains. Visit the World Peace Pagoda, a massive Buddhist stupa situated on a hilltop. Explore the Seti River, which flows underground at places, and visit museums to learn about the lifestyles and history of ethnic groups like the Gurung, Thakali, and Tharu. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 8 Return to Kathmandu

After breakfast, fly back to Kathmandu. Enjoy free time for shopping or leisurely walking around Thamel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 9 Departure from Kathmandu
