Itinerary

Day 1 Kathmandu to Pokhara

We begin our journey early in the morning with a vehicle, van, or bus ride from Kathmandu to Pokhara. It’s up to you which car you choose. The travel there will take four or five hours. On the right side of the route are picturesque villages, mountains, and lush vegetation. Other breathtaking views of the Annapurna range’s five peaks, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), and many more may be had upon arriving at Pokhara. Following your check-in and a quick refresh, you should enjoy strolling through the lakeside valley, going boating, swimming, and fishing in the lakes (known as Taal in Nepali), and spending the evenings exploring the city. Spend the night in a Pokhara hotel.

Day 2 Trek from Pokhara to Kalikasthan

After breakfast this morning, we drive to the Bijaypur Khola (river) where we will start our hour-long trek over horizontal paddy fields and bridge the river. Once we cross the river, we begin the real march by climbing up to Kalikasthan. Midway during the hike, food will be served. After arriving in Kalikasthan, one spends some time resting before touring the nearby areas. Spend the night in a guesthouse nearby.

Day 3 Trek from Kalikasthan to Syaglung

Following breakfast, we begin our journey to Syaglung along the mountain’s ridge, which provides breathtaking views of the Lamjung Himal and Mount Annapurna. Today, we go through rhododendron forests and several villages, watching the locals and their customs, beliefs, and way of life. Spend the night in a guesthouse in the area.

Day 4 Trek from Syaglung to Chisapani

The Gurung community is represented in this area. You can get a terrific look at the Gurung village’s way of life, culture, traditions, dances, and faiths by taking a stroll through it. We continue our game of hide-and-seek with the Sal and rhododendron trees. We walk halfway to our objective, Chisapani, and then descend 400 metres before climbing 600 metres again. The greatest position to view the Dhaulagiri Himalayan panorama, which is located west of Annapurna, is from this location. Spend the night in a guesthouse in the area.

Day 5 Trek from Chisapani to Pokhara

Today, we descend the hill halfway to reach Rupa Tal before beginning our ascent once more in the direction of Sundare Danda, which is situated 200 metres above our starting point. Once more, we take a fifteen-minute walk to reach Begnas Tal, where we enjoy an hour or so of boating. We then make our way back to Pokhara to check into our accommodation. There, you can choose between relaxing and enjoying the lakefront surroundings. Spend the night in a hotel.

Day 6 Transfer to Royal Chitwan National Park

After breakfast this morning, we depart Pokhara and go for Chitwan National Park. It will take 4 to 5 hours to travel the mere 86 miles to get there from Pokhara. You can choose between driving a car or taking a bus or private van. After arriving at the park, we’ll head to the nearby hotel for a little relaxation and food before doing some quick sightseeing. You will be served Nepali cuisine along with other events like singing, dancing, and many more once you return.

Day 7 Explore Royal Chitwan National Park

We’re going to head towards the lake today to see the gorgeous scene of fish swimming about. You can also go fishing. You can also form a party and explore the jungle region. We will continue our jungle safari after breakfast, taking in the stunning flora and animals, lush greenery, and varied environment. After that, we head back to the hotel to relax. In addition, plans for a barbecue and bonfire will be made, as well as entertainment features like singing and dancing. Spend the night in a hotel.

Day 8 Drive from Royal Chitwan National Park to Kathmandu

The average distance is 158.4 kilometres between Kathmandu and the Royal Chitwan National Park. Travelling by vehicle along the East-West Highway (AH2) from the park to Kathmandu will take approximately 6 hours. We’re going to Kathmandu after breakfast. On the halfway, lunch will be provided at the nearby hotel. Once you arrive in Kathmandu, you will be taken to your designated accommodation, and our commemorative Royal Trek experience will come to an end.

Trip Overview

The Royal Trek

One of the shorter treks, the Royal Trek is advised for novices and experienced hikers who are time-constrained and unable to hike farther. It follows a bushy trail that skirts the hillside rice terraces and the slopes of Annapurna, Machapuchre, Langtang, and Machapuchre. The journey starts in the city of lovely lakes (Pokhara), passes through charming Gurung villages, and ends in the wilds of Chitwan National Park. The stunning terrain of this area offers possibilities for meaningful cross-cultural interactions with the diverse tribes and cultures that make up this expedition.

The gift has Prince Charles’s name, who visited the area. The short, simple walk offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, ridge walks, forests, rice fields and other settlements. The itinerary’s final section states that 56 different species of mammals may be found in Royal Chitwan National Park, including the Bengal tiger, sloth bear, one-horned rhinoceros, leopard, wild elephant, striped hyena, Gangetic dolphin, and wild bison.

The park is home to an estimated number of fish, butterflies, reptiles, and other wildlife in addition to a huge number of bird species. A recent study estimates that Chitwan is home to almost one-third of all people in Nepal. For additional information, kindly visit Nepal Jungle Safari.

The two different components of this programme are the three-day, two-night jungle safari in Nepal and the five-day trekking excursion in Nepal. We are able to modify the schedule to suit your needs. The Chitwan Jungle Safari gives visitors a chance to see Nepal’s animals in luxury, while the Royal Trek gives an overview of short trekking in the country.

Best time to visit

The months of October through March and March through May are the ideal times to embark on the Royal Trek. The venue continues to be a pleasant 25°C. You can have up-close looks at a variety of animals and birds during this time. The travellers will have a more satisfying experience because there will be clean skies. During these seasons, the main draw is also the view of the surrounding ecosystem, which includes mountains, lakes, rivers, a small waterfall, foggy mornings, and general ecosystem.
