When you arrive, RT personnel will meet you at Kathmandu’s Tribhuvan International Airport and take you to your accommodation. You can explore the Thamel region if you’re not too fatigued. RT will host a welcome supper for you in the evening.
On this day, our tour officially starts. You will see the Kathmandu UNESCO World Heritage site with our guide. You will see more than 500 years of Nepalese art and culture when you visit Kathmandu’s Durbar Square. You will also go to Swayambhunath, also known as the Monkey Temple, which is another well-liked tourist spot. You will also go to the largest temple in Hinduism, Pashupatinath, on this day. Your excursion will also include Bouddhanath, which is accessible by foot from Pashupatinath. It’s among South Asia’s biggest stupas.
UNESCO has inscribed Patan Durbar Square as a World Heritage Site. It is an artistic and architecturally rich historic location. In addition to Patan Durbar, another location worth observing in this vicinity is Krishna Temple. It’s reported that a single rock was carved to build the temple. We are also planning to visit Bhaktapur on the same day. It is a traditional city with a distinct way of life and culture. The attractions that draw travellers to this location are the Nyatapole Temple, The Golden Gate, and 55 Window Palace. We’ll travel to Bhaktapur and then on to Nagarkot. It is well-known for its sunrise and sunset views and is close to Bhaktapur.
On the fourth day, we will leave for Chitwan after an early breakfast. The distance from Kathmandu is more than 150 kilometres. We’ll travel along the Trishuli River’s bank on a road that descends. Our personnel will give you an overview of the things we will be doing during our stay in Chitwan as soon as we arrive. We shall have dinner in the evening and see a cultural programme that Tharu performs.
We shall embark on a jungle tour today on elephant back before breakfast. We visit the elephant stables after breakfast and even get to bathe the elephants. We can go on a boat ride on the Rapti River or have a drive through the bush in the midday. We will be able to see Mugger crocodiles up close while boating, in addition to other aquatic animals like dolphins and waterfowl. We’ll stay the night at a hotel in Chitwan.
We will spend some time seeing some migratory birds before breakfast, as this park is home to over 500 different species of birds. We go by car for Kathmandu after breakfast. We return to the capital around nightfall and have a goodbye meal.
Today is the last day of our journey as you prepare your belongings for departure. It will be an RT representative who drives you to the airport.

Many UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Kathmandu will be on your itinerary, including Bouddhanath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple (the holiest place for Hindus), Swoyambhunath Temple (the largest Buddhist temple in Nepal), Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square, and more. You’ll feel rejuvenated after seeing Nagarkot, which is a hill station that’s closer to Bhaktapur (about a 40-minute drive). Another fantastic city with amazing architecture and culture is Patan. We also visit the Patan Museum, Krishna Mandir, Royal Palace, Nyatapola Temple, National Art Gallery, and a number of other locations on this tour.
As implied by the name, the Chitwan National Park itinerary includes visits to Chitwan, the site of the nation’s first national park, which was created in 1972 and is listed as a World Heritage Site. It encompasses 932 square kilometres, or 360 square miles. More than 500 different species of birds and more than 700 different types of fauna call it home. About 68 different species of mammals, including the One-Horned Rhino and Royal Bengal Tiger, as well as a variety of birds, like the slender-billed babbler, grey-crowned Prinia, and swamp francolin, may be found in the Chitwan National Park.
The East-West Highway travels 158.7 kilometres (5 hours 33 minutes) from Kathmandu to Chitwan National Park, whereas the Prithvi Highway travels 170.4 km (5 hours 56 minutes). When the sky is clear and the temperature is around 25°C, October to March is the ideal time to visit Chitwan National Park. From late January to March, when the villagers trim down phanta grasses to improve visibility, is the best time to see animals. The entrance cost to Chitwan National Park is $11.53 (Rs 750) USD plus 13% VAT per person.
This all-inclusive tour, which is run by RT, gives you a glimpse of Nepal’s stunning natural beauty in addition to its rich culture and traditional architecture. Come join us and enjoy the beauty of Nepal as we show you around.
