Best Time To Do Short Annapurna Circuit Trek 7 Days

The ideal seasons for the seven-day fast trek around the Annapurna circuit are typically thought to be spring (March to May) and fall (September to November). These are the seasons when you can experience free, amazing views of the Annapurna region at its highest point while trekking on a dry path. Both of these seasons typically have stable weather.

Springtime

The lower trekking path is blanketed in spotted wildflowers throughout the springtime, when the entire Himalayan landscape comes to life. The eloped fauna and flora of the Annapurna Conservation Area should also be visible to you.

This is the perfect time of year to shoot that perfect photo because of the region’s vibrant beauty, lush hills, blue skies, and the sparkling peaks of the Himalayas.

In the spring, the Annapurna region experiences daily averages of 14°C to 23°C, with a low of 5°C.

Since the atmosphere over 4,000 metres is usually considered alpine, you should plan for any type of weather throughout your walk. You have to be ready for below-freezing morning and nighttime temps.

Autumn

Even between these two busy times of the year, autumn is considered the ideal season for mountain trekking excursions in the Himalayas. The nicest weather and temperatures of the year occur during this period, which ranges from 10°C to 20°C and is neither too hot nor too cold.

You may also look forward to viewing some of the most stunning Himalayan vistas because of the clear days. The verdant, fresh, and monsoon-nourished surroundings make hiking a fascinating activity every day. Similarly, the Himalayan springtime flower-blooming season is considered a nature lover’s paradise.

Permits Required For Short Annapurna Circuit Trek 7 Day

You need permits since they provide you permission to enter the Annapurna region. The Annapurna Conservation Area Permit (ACAP) and the Trekkers Information Management System (TIMS) are the two main permits required for short-distance walking on the Annapurna circuit.

Please be aware that the cost of these permits is already included in our quote; our team members will obtain these permits on your behalf to ensure a hassle-free and easy trek. Here are some quick details about these licences.

  • Trekkers Information Management System (TIMS): Also known as TIMS, this system improves everyone’s safety when trekking in Nepal. A TIMS card is necessary for the majority of treks in Nepal, not just the ten-day Annapurna circuit climb. We need two passport-sized pictures and a photocopy of your passport in order to obtain your TIMS card. TIMS cards are available for NPR 2,000, or about 17 USD.
  • The Annapurna Conservation Area Permit (ACAP) was designed with the Annapurna Region in mind. The fee and the permission contribute to the area’s preservation. You must fill out an application with details about your schedule, planned trekking route, and insurance in order to receive your ACAP. ACAP is available for NPR 3,000, or around $25.50 USD.
