We will depart for Lukla early in the morning from Tribhuvan International Airport’s domestic terminal after breakfast. We touch down at Lukla’s Tenzing-Hillary Airport. Surrounded by mountains, it’s one of the world’s best aviation routes. We plan our trekking to Phakding here, where we also meet our trekking guides. Phakding to Lukla is a quick hike. You’ll explore the area and notice a neighbouring Phakding monastery. In Lukla, we will spend the night at a lodge.
It’s a fascinating trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar. To get to Namche Bazaar, we stroll beside the Dudh Koshi River and cross a lovely pine grove. You will have the opportunity to observe Mount Thamserku en route. If the weather is cooperative, you may also catch a good view of Mount Everest. Our stroll comes to a conclusion at Namche Bazaar’s Sagarmatha National Park gate. It serves as the entry point to both the major business district and Mount Everest. We will traverse five suspension bridges en route to Namche, the Hillary Suspension Bridge being one of them.
It’s a relaxation day today. Today, we’ll wander around and take in Namche Bazaar. You’ll get the opportunity to learn about Sherpa culture. Here, you can also visit a nearby museum. It provides you with a wealth of knowledge about the Sherpa people, their way of life, and Mount Everest. But if you’d rather take a somewhat longer walk, you can visit Khumjung village. From Namche Bazaar, it takes approximately six hours to go to this village. The Edmund Hillary School and Khumjung Monastery are located here. The Imja River and stone barriers are crossed before we begin our trek across the glacier moraines towards Chhukung. Walking through the settlement of Bibre, we observe Island Peak soaring into the sky. We continue going from Bibre for another thirty minutes till we arrive to Chhukung, where we spend the night.
Today is a day off. As part of our practice of acclimating to high altitude, we ascend Chhukung Ri. The actual location of this peak is above Chhukung village. From here, the vista of the Ama Dablam and Amphu Labsa peaks is beautiful. We spend a few hours here before returning to Chhukung, where we will spend the night.
The trail from Island Peak Base Camp to Chhukung is steep. We first travel south and then east, using a convoluted route that eventually leads us to the south-west face of Island Peak, where we spend the night.Today is a day off. Peak climbing training is not required, however it is highly recommended to increase your confidence and ensure your safety. We’ll have fun and stay the night at the camp.
We get up early today, at two in the morning, and eat breakfast before starting our ascent. In order to avoid being caught by the strong wind that begins to blow at noon, we make this effort to reach the peak before noon. The path up Island Peak at first quite sandy and steep, then it becomes grassy and eventually leads to boulder-strewn terrain. The slope narrows as we proceed, leading to a sharp rock channel. In certain locations, we require ropes that are fastened by our guides. We take pictures once we reach the summit and then relax and enjoy the journey for a while. After returning to the Base camp, we successfully spend the night there.
Today, we follow the same path back, descending down the Khumbu River. Along the route, we will pass by the picturesque Sherpa villages of Orsho and Shomare. We might take a different way to reach the Gompa, which is situated at Upper Pangboche. This monastery is thought to be the earliest sacred Buddhist shrine in the Khumbu area. We’ll reach Pangboche village via the standard route. Everest, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Kangtaiga, Kongde, and the Imja Tse River around this lovely settlement. We intend to spend the night at Pangboche.

A few key features of this mountain trekking experience are the rocky trail and snowy trials, which add to the enjoyment and mementability of the trip. You will feel happier and more at ease due to the amazing air that fills your bones and entire body.
The trek also offers a breathtaking view of the mountains from the summit. as treks on the steep, rocky slope and snow trail are part of the summit day. It is both fascinating and difficult at the same time, and you will have a great time enjoying the scenic ascent without requiring much technical know-how.
Adventurers who wish to climb the island peaks without making any stops along the way, such as Everest Base Camp, should follow this plan. reducing the number of days needed to reach the base camp or finding an other route, as this specific journey can be completed in less days and still be enjoyable.

However, ten people is seen to be the ideal group size. But, RT can also set this up if your group numbers more than ten.
