Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu, Transfer to Hotel

Day 2 Fly to Pokhara, Drive to Nayapul, Trek to Tikhedhunga

After breakfast, you’ll take a short flight to Pokhara, a picturesque city nestled beside Phewa Lake. From Pokhara, a private vehicle will drive you to Nayapul, the starting point of your trek. You’ll begin your trek with a gentle walk through terraced fields and traditional villages, reaching Tikhedhunga by late afternoon. Spend the night in a comfortable teahouse, enjoying the serene surroundings and preparing for the trek ahead.

Day 3 Trek to Ghorepani

Today’s trek is challenging but rewarding. You’ll start with a steep climb up a stone staircase to Ulleri, a large Magar village. From there, the trail gradually ascends through dense rhododendron and oak forests, offering occasional glimpses of snow-capped peaks. As you approach Ghorepani, you’ll be rewarded with stunning views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. Spend the night in a cozy teahouse in Ghorepani, resting up for the early morning hike to Poon Hill.

Day 4 Hike to Poon Hill for Sunrise, Trek to Tadapani

Wake up early and hike up to Poon Hill (3,210 meters) to witness one of the most spectacular sunrises over the Himalayas. As the sun rises, the peaks of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre, and other mountains are bathed in a golden glow, creating an unforgettable sight. After soaking in the views, return to Ghorepani for breakfast before continuing your trek to Tadapani. The trail winds through beautiful forests and offers stunning mountain views. Arrive in Tadapani by late afternoon and spend the night in a teahouse.

Day 5 Trek to Ghandruk

Today’s trek is relatively easy and takes you to Ghandruk, one of the largest and most beautiful Gurung villages in the Annapurna region. The trail descends through forests and terraced fields, with spectacular views of the mountains along the way. In Ghandruk, you’ll have time to explore the village, visit the Gurung Museum, and interact with the friendly locals. Spend the night in a comfortable teahouse, enjoying the hospitality and cultural richness of the village.

Day 6 Trek to Nayapul, Drive to Pokhara

On the final day of trekking, you’ll descend from Ghandruk to Nayapul. The trail passes through lush forests, terraced fields, and charming villages, offering a final chance to soak in the natural beauty of the region. From Nayapul, a private vehicle will drive you back to Pokhara, where you’ll check into a comfortable hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, exploring the lakeside area, visiting local markets, or simply relaxing by Phewa Lake.

Day 7 Fly Back to Kathmandu

After breakfast, you’ll take a short flight back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and enjoy a free day to explore the city at your own pace. You might choose to visit some of Kathmandu’s cultural and historical sites, do some last-minute shopping, or relax at your hotel. In the evening, join your group for a farewell dinner at a traditional Nepali restaurant, celebrating the completion of your trek.

Day 8 Departure from Kathmandu

Your Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek concludes today. After breakfast, a Roiels Travel representative will assist you with your transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport for your departure flight.
