Day 1 Pick up from Tribhuban International Airport and Overnight

We will always collect you from Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) (1345 meters) in a car/Van/Bus based on your group size and provide transportation to your hotel in Kathmandu. Please adhere to the provided image of the Roiels Travel at the exit. Instruct number one to drive to the Hotel.

Day 2 Drive to Syabrubesi, Overnight

Following breakfast at the Hotel, take a Jeep ride to Syabrubesi (1466m). Driving the bus from Kathmandu to the destination via Trisuli, Ramche, and Dhunche may take 6/7 hours, compared to the 5/6 hours by other means of transportation. Dhunche is situated at an altitude of 2000 meters above sea level.

Lunch will be served in the small village of Ramche, where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of lush landscape, river, and banks while driving along the trail. Stay overnight at the Shyabru Benshi Hotel located at 1466 meters above sea level.

Day 3 Trek to Lama Hotel, Overnight

Following breakfast, hike to Lama Hotel. The pathway winds through bamboo, jasmine, and oak forests. We need to cross the Langtang Khola multiple times.

Hike to Lama Hotel, located at an altitude of 2410m, is a 4/5 hour trek from Shyabru Benshi. We have lodged at the Lama Hotel, situated alongside the River.

Day 4 Trek to Langtang Village, Overnight

It ascends slowly from Lama Hotel through the forest to reach Ghoda Tabala. It requires 3 hours to reach this destination; this destination includes the national park check post and a simple path that leads to Langtang village. You will enjoy lunch at the Thankshap and then proceed with your trek to Langtang village. At an elevation of 3430 meters, you will need two more hours to reach Langtang village and stay overnight.

Langtang village is well-known for its cheese factory and hydropower facility.

Day 5 Trek to Kyanjing Gompa, Overnight

Following breakfast, the journey to Kyanjing Gumba at an elevation of 3830m above sea level carries on. The path gently ascends through the Langtang glacier. Kyanging Gumma is typically a 3-hour journey away. You will eat lunch at the hotel where the camp is located.

Kyanjin Gumba is a place that receives a lot of sunlight. You will enjoy stunning vistas of Mount Langtang Lirung range, Ganga-La range, Yala peak, and Glacier. Nevertheless, spend the night at the hotel with a hot dinner.

Day 6 Explore Day in Kyanjin Gompa, Overnight

Enjoy breakfast at Kyanjin Gompa and trek to Kyanjin-Ri without carrying a backpack. It’s a one-day trek offering spectacular views of the Langtang Himalayas and glaciers. Kyanjin-Ri, standing at 4773 meters above sea level, is the most elevated spot for trekking.

Upon completing the exploration of the tall summit, make your way back to the Hotel in a different manner. Enjoy a meal and a day off, Stay overnight at the Hotel in Kyanjin Gumba.

Day 7 Trek to Lama Hotel, Overnight

Following a warm breakfast at Kyanjin Gumba, you will retrace your steps back to Lama Hotel. You enjoyed impressive sights of the Langtang Himalayas and immersed yourself in the local culture. Descending through Langtang Village will take approximately 6 hours, stopping for lunch at Ghodatabela before spending the night at Lama Hotel.

Day 8 Trek to Thulo Syabru, Overnight

Yes, begin descending towards Pahiro Thaplo and then branch off to hike to Thulo Syabru. The Tamang people’s settlement within the local area. Various wild animals, including Longer Monkeys, can be observed. We need to trek from Pahiro Thaplo to reach Thulo Syabru. It will require an additional 2 hours to reach Thulo Syabru by passing through the forest and a suspension bridge.

Enjoy a meal and you’ll have the rest of the day off in Thulo Syabru. Staying the night at the Thulo Syabru hotel.

Day 9 Trek to Sing Gompa, Overnight

Yes, we are accustomed to mountain hiking. Following your exploration of Thulo Syabru village, you must ascend to Chandan Bari by passing through the small village and pine forest. Chandan Bari is situated 700 meters above Thulo Syabru and serves as the top spot for admiring the scenery prior to reaching Sing Gumba. Enjoy a meal at Chandan Bari and then proceed on the hike to Sing Gumba.

Gumba Sing refers to a Monastery made of wood from a tree. It is a one-hour journey from Chandan Bari. There is a lovely location to visit, featuring both a Cheese factory and a monastery to discover. Stay at the Hotel in Sing Gumba for one night.

Day 10 Trek to Gosaikunda, Overnight

Indeed, another day of hiking awaits us, as we ascend to even greater heights. Our journey will begin at Sing Gumba and continue onwards to Cholang, which is just one hour away. However, there is a cozy guest house along the way. Within a couple of hours, you will reach the summit of Lauribinayak. The hiking path ascends with winding turns and sparse shrubbery.

At an elevation of 4300 meters above sea level, the summit of the Lauribinayak-Pass offers breathtaking views of the Langtang range, Ganesh Himal range, Manaslu Himalayan range, and Mt. Shishapangma is part of the Himalayan mountain range. Discover the Himalayan mountain range and proceed with the hike to Gosainkunda Lake. There are numerous Lakes, however, we will spend the night at the Lakesides of Gosainkunda Lake.

Day 11 Trek to Ghopte, Overnight

Today is the most challenging day to reach Ghopte from Gosainkunda Lake. You have the opportunity to admire the stunning sunrise above the Himalayas and take pleasure in the Lakes. You ought to visit the Hindu temple near the lake and then proceed with your trek along the shores of Gosainkunda Lake. Nonetheless, you are on your way to Gosaindkunda, reaching an altitude of 4610 meters and encountering various lakes such as Bhairab Kunda and Dud Kunda.

Views of the Himalayas can be enjoyed from the top of the pass. You are going down 1000 meters from the mountain pass to Phedi. In the same way, your lunch will be at Phedi and you will reach Ghopte 2 hours later, following trails that go through bamboo and rhododendron forests. Stay at the Ghopte for one night. Thai flight 311 experienced a crash during an international journey.

Day 12 Trek to Kutumsang, Overnight

The journey commences in the morning from Ghopte and continues to Kutumsang. You must trek to Thadepati and then make your way down to Kutumsang in one day. Nevertheless, the path winds its way through the pine and rhododendron woodland.

You will dine at the Mangingoath and then proceed on to Kutumsang. You are strolling through the woods in the daylight. During the spring season, there is an opportunity to engage in playful snowball fights with others. It could require 5 to 6 hours, which includes a lunch break during the journey. You will spend the night at Kutumsang, situated at an altitude of 2470 meters.

Day 13 Trek to Chisapani, Overnight

Yes, we will be traveling to Chisapani today. Chisapani is situated at an elevation of 2215 meters. However, our journey starts at Kutumsang. The trail could require 6 hours, including both uphill and downhill sections. After three hours of walking, you will arrive at Golfu Bhanjyang and Chipping village. Stop for lunch at Golfu Bhanjyang before continuing your trek to Chisa Pani by passing through Pati Bhanjyang. Lunchtime included, the usual duration is around 5/6 hours. Stay at the Guest House in Chisapani overnight.

Day 14 Trek to Sundharijal and drive to Kathmandu, Overnight

Chisapani is located within Shivapuri national park; Various permits specific to Shivapuri national park are required. Nevertheless, it is a stunning national park where you might encounter some wild animals while hiking. Likewise, you can also travel from Chisapani to Nagarkot.

However, we will return to Kathmandu through Mulkharka and Sundarijal. The journey from Chisapani to Sundarijal lasts 4 hours. It will take you an hour to drive from Sundarijal to Kathmandu in a car or van. One night stay in a Kathmandu hotel. You will be reachable throughout the day upon your arrival in Kathmandu.

Day 15 Departure.

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel in Kathmandu and then transfer to the international airport by either van or car.

You must check out of your hotel by noon.

The Journey Begins: Kathmandu to Syabrubesi

The adventure starts with your arrival in Kathmandu, where you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel. The next day, after a hearty breakfast, a scenic drive takes you to Syabrubesi, the gateway to the Langtang region. The journey offers breathtaking views of the Trishuli River, lush green hills, and terraced farmlands. Syabrubesi, at an altitude of 1466 meters, serves as the starting point for the trek.

Trekking through the Forests: Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel

From Syabrubesi, the trek begins with a gradual ascent through the beautiful Langtang Valley. The trail winds through dense forests of bamboo, oak, and rhododendron, offering a chance to spot wildlife such as red pandas, monkeys, and various bird species. The day’s trek ends at the Lama Hotel, situated at 2410 meters. This quaint settlement is nestled amidst the forest, providing a serene and tranquil atmosphere for trekkers.

Ascending to Langtang Village

The next leg of the journey takes you from the Lama Hotel to Langtang Village. The trail gradually climbs through lush forests, opening up to the wide valley with stunning views of snow-capped peaks. Langtang Village, at 3430 meters, is a traditional Tamang settlement that was heavily affected by the 2015 earthquake but has since been rebuilt. Here, you can explore the village, visit the local cheese factory, and interact with the friendly locals.

Exploring Kyanjin Gompa

From Langtang Village, the trek continues to Kyanjin Gompa, a significant Buddhist monastery located at 3830 meters. The trail offers spectacular views of Langtang Lirung and other surrounding peaks. Upon reaching Kyanjin Gompa, trekkers can explore the monastery, visit the local cheese factory, and enjoy the panoramic views. A day hike to Kyanjin Ri (4773 meters) is highly recommended for an unparalleled view of the Langtang Himalayas and the glaciers.

The Spiritual Heart: Gosaikunda Lake

Leaving Kyanjin Gompa, the trek ascends towards the sacred Gosaikunda Lake. The trail passes through alpine meadows and rugged terrain, eventually reaching the lake at an altitude of 4380 meters. Gosaikunda is a significant pilgrimage site for both Hindus and Buddhists, believed to have been created by Lord Shiva to quench his thirst after consuming poison. The lake and its surroundings are adorned with several smaller lakes and offer a serene and spiritual ambiance. Every August, during the Janai Purnima festival, pilgrims from all over Nepal and beyond come to pay homage and take a holy dip in the lake’s icy waters.

The trek then leads to the Lauribinayak Pass, standing at 4610 meters. Descending from the pass, the trail winds down through rocky terrain and alpine forests, leading to the settlement of Ghopte.

The Descent: Ghopte to Kutumsang

From Ghopte, the trek continues through dense forests of pine and rhododendron, with occasional glimpses of the snow-capped peaks. The trail passes through the village of Thadepati, offering spectacular views of the Helambu region. The day ends at Kutumsang, a small village at 2470 meters, where trekkers can rest and rejuvenate amidst the serene surroundings.

Journey to Chisapani and Return to Kathmandu

The penultimate day of the trek takes you from Kutumsang to Chisapani, passing through beautiful forests and terraced fields. Chisapani, located at 2215 meters, offers stunning views of the Langtang and Ganesh Himal ranges. From here, the final day’s trek descends to Sundarijal, passing through the Shivapuri National Park. A short drive from Sundarijal brings you back to Kathmandu, where you can relax and reflect on your incredible journey.
