Greetings from Nepal, situated at an elevation of 1350 meters above sea level. Our company’s airport representative will collect you from the international airport and transport you to the hotel in a private vehicle.
In the upcoming days, you will receive a brief introduction to the programs. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Following breakfast at the hotel, take pleasure in a guided sightseeing tour of Kathmandu city with a car.
Today’s tour includes visiting Pashupatinath, Boudhanath Stupa, and Swayambhunath, all UNESCO-listed world heritage sites, followed by a free day and an overnight stay at the hotel.
Enjoy a hearty morning meal at the hotel before departing for Pokhara at 8:00 AM.
Driving by car along the winding Prithvi Highway, which follows the Trisuli River and Marshyangdi River, takes approximately 4/5 hours.
Individuals have the opportunity to begin river rafting at Trisuli River on a single day. During the journey to Pokhara, you will pass by the scenery and observe farmers tending to their carp ponds.
In the same manner, breakfast and lunch will be provided during the journey to Pokhara. Discover the lakeside area near the hotel and spend the night at the hotel.
It takes one hour to drive from Pokhara to Nayapool on the paved road, followed by an additional two hours on the gravel road to reach Banthanti. Grab a bite to eat after getting out of the Jeep and then carry on with the hike to Ghorepani.
The path is easy and travels through the terraced hillsides and nearby homes. Traveling through the scattered villages of Ramghai, Hile, Tikhedhunga, Ulleary, and Banthanti.
We will proceed further to reach Ghorepani. The Magar ethnic community is well-known in this tiny village. Upper Ghorepani is our recommendation for the most stunning views and the option to stay overnight.
Staying overnight at the Hotel provides a fantastic opportunity to enjoy a magnificent view of Mount Dhaulagiri.
It is time to wake up early in the morning and begin the hike to Poon Hill (3210 meters), which offers the finest sunrise views of the snow-capped mountains, including MT. Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Fishtail, Manaslu, and the nearby areas.
After going down to Ghorepani and having breakfast, start the hike through the rhododendron forest to Deurali Pass (3090 M), capture a great photo, and continue on to Deurali and Banthanti.
Enjoy a meal at Banthanti, then hike for 20 minutes, cross a stream, and continue for 30 minutes uphill to reach Tadapani. Stay overnight at the lodge.
Today, rise early to enjoy stunning sights of Annapurna South, Himchuli, and Fishtail (Sacred Mountain).
After having breakfast, we begin the hike from Tadapani. It requires 3.5 hours to reach Ghandruk, descending gradually from the rhododendron forest.
The path is in good condition. To get to Bhaisikharka, first relax and then hike down to Ghandruk; Ghandruk is renowned for its authentic Gurung culture and museums.
Certainly, one can discover breathtaking views of the Himalayas and experience the warm hospitality of the local ethnic community during an overnight stay at the lodge.
Today we are going to Pokhara. Ghandruk is about 4-5 hours away from Nayapool, despite the availability of Jeeps or buses in Ghandruk. Starting to walk downwards through the rice paddies, millet fields, cornfields, and terraced landscapes.
However, the gravel road is only used during the dry season (winter) and, on the other hand, you will miss out on the scenery and interactions with the locals on the final part of the trek.
Our recommendation is to enjoy the breathtaking views while trekking down to Birethanti, Nayapool, leaving the Annapurna Conservation Area checkpoint, and continuing on to Pokhara, which is approximately a one-hour drive away.
You have the option to stay overnight at a hotel and visit Pokhara.
After checking out of the hotel, I visited Pokhara in the morning and then drove to the airport.
It takes only 30 minutes to reach the airport from your hotel, but it’s necessary to arrive one hour prior to your flight. The duration of the flight from Pokhara to Kathmandu is 20 minutes.
One of our agents will be waiting at the Kathmandu Airport to escort you to your hotel. Stay at the hotel for one night.
Kindly be aware that the check-out time is 12:00 PM.
After having breakfast, our representative will drive you to the international airport in a private vehicle when you are leaving; Remember to check out of the hotel by noon.

This trek is known for its combined routes, allowing hikers to experience a variety of landscapes, cultures, and breathtaking views in a relatively short time. Within just a week, trekkers can explore the beauty of the Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP), which is one of the most popular short treks in the Annapurna region, located at an altitude of 3200 meters above sea level in western Nepal.
The adventure begins with a scenic journey to Pokhara, a city located about 4 to 5 hours west of Kathmandu by car or a short 20-minute flight. Pokhara serves as the gateway to the Annapurna Himalayan ranges and sets the stage for the trek with its serene lakes and stunning mountain views. From here, the trek kicks off with a drive to Nayapul, passing through charming villages inhabited by the Gurung community. The trek from Nayapul takes you through lush, dense rhododendron forests, teeming with birdlife, and deep subtropical valleys, showcasing Nepal’s diverse and beautiful landscapes.
The first night is spent at Tikhedhunga, a quaint stopover before the trek continues towards Ghorepani. Along the way, trekkers are treated to stunning views of the sacred Fishtail Mountain (Machhapuchhre) and the Annapurna Himalayan range. The highlight of the trek is the early morning hike to Poon Hill, located about 45 minutes from Ghorepani. This vantage point offers one of the most spectacular sunrise views in the Himalayas, as the first light of day illuminates the peaks of the Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, and Manaslu ranges. The sight of the sun rising over these majestic mountains is a moment that leaves a lasting impression on all who witness it.
After soaking in the sunrise views from Poon Hill, the trek continues through the scenic Tadapani route, eventually leading to the Gurung village of Ghandruk. This village is known for its rich cultural heritage and the warm hospitality of the Gurung people. Trekkers can immerse themselves in the local culture, explore traditional Gurung architecture, and enjoy stunning views of the Himchuli and Annapurna ranges. The trek then loops back towards Nayapul, completing the Ghorepani Poon Hill circuit.
The Ghorepani Poon Hill trek is not only about the views and landscapes but also about experiencing the unique culture and traditions of the ethnic communities in the region. The Gurung culture, in particular, is a highlight, offering insights into the traditional way of life in the Himalayas. The trek is relatively short and accessible, making it an ideal choice for those with limited time but a desire to experience the best of what the Annapurna region has to offer.
