On Day 1, trekkers are warmly welcomed at Tribhuvan International Airport and transferred to their hotel, where they can rest and prepare for the adventure ahead. The following day, a scenic bus or jeep ride takes the group from Kathmandu to Shyabru Besi, situated at an altitude of 1,503 meters. This journey marks the beginning of the trekking experience and offers early glimpses of the diverse landscapes of Nepal.
The actual trekking starts on Day 3, with a hike from Shyabru Besi to Gatlang, a picturesque village at 2,337 meters. This segment introduces trekkers to the lush greenery and traditional Tamang villages that characterize the region. On Day 4, the trek continues to Somdang, located at 3,271 meters. This part of the journey involves traversing beautiful forests and enjoying the pristine natural environment.
Day 5 is dedicated to exploring the area around Somdang, including the Tibet border. This day provides an opportunity to delve into the local culture and enjoy the scenic beauty of the border region. The highlight of the trek comes on Day 6, with the challenging yet rewarding ascent to the Pangsang La pass at 3,842 meters. This pass offers breathtaking views of the surrounding Himalayan peaks, making the effort well worth it.
Following the exhilarating experience of crossing the pass, the trek descends to Tipling and then to Shertung on Day 7. Shertung, situated at 1,875 meters, is known for its hot springs, providing trekkers with a chance to relax and rejuvenate. On Day 8, after visiting the hot springs, the journey continues to Chalishe Gaon, located at 1,674 meters.
The next leg of the trek takes the group to Jharlang, at an elevation of 3,000 meters, on Day 9. On Day 10, the trek descends to Darkha Gaun at 1,850 meters, offering a different perspective on the landscapes encountered earlier.

The final trekking day, Day 13, involves a hike to Golabhanjang and a drive back to Kathmandu, where the group can relax and reflect on their journey. On Day 15, the adventure concludes with a final departure to the international airport.
The Ganesh Himal Trekking Adventure includes a range of services to ensure a comfortable and memorable experience. These include airport pickups and drops by private car, a complete board package with three meals a day, tea or coffee with every meal, accommodations during the trek, and the services of an experienced, English-speaking guide. Additionally, two trekkers share one porter if needed, and all necessary permits, including the National Park and TIMS permits, are included. Surface ground transfers from and to Kathmandu, government taxes, and a trekking map and hiking poles for each participant are also provided.
However, certain expenses are not included in the package. These exclusions are important to note for proper preparation. Mineral water and bar bills are not covered, nor is travel insurance, which is essential for trekking. Trekkers must bring their own trekking equipment, and any entrance fees or donations for temples and monasteries are also excluded. Other expenses not mentioned in the inclusions are the responsibility of the trekkers.
