Day 1 Arrival at Paro and Drive to Thimphu

Upon your arrival at Paro Airport, you will be greeted by our representative who will facilitate your transfer to Thimphu. The drive to Thimphu, which takes about 1.5 hours, offers a glimpse of Bhutan’s natural beauty and tranquil environment. Once you arrive in Thimphu, you will check into your hotel and have the rest of the day to acclimatize and relax. Depending on your arrival time, a brief city tour can be arranged.

Day 2 Thimphu - Punakha (75 km, 3 Hours)

After a hearty breakfast, embark on a comprehensive sightseeing tour of Thimphu. Your first stop will be the National Library, home to an extensive collection of Buddhist texts and manuscripts. Next, visit the Traditional Thangka Painting School, where students learn the intricate art of Bhutanese painting. The Traditional Medicine Institute showcases ancient Bhutanese healing arts, while the Heritage Museum offers a glimpse into Bhutan’s rich cultural past.

Continue your exploration with a visit to Tashichho Dzong, the seat of Bhutan’s government and monastic body, followed by the Memorial Chorten, built in honor of the third King of Bhutan. Day 3 Punakha - Wangduephodrang - Paro (150 km, 5 Hours)

The dzong is an architectural marvel, situated at the confluence of the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers. After exploring Punakha, you will drive to Wangduephodrang, a town renowned for its stone and slate carvings and bamboo products. Day 4 Full Day Paro Sightseeing or Hike to Tiger's Nest Monastery

After breakfast, you have the option to either embark on a full day of sightseeing in Paro Valley or take a hike to the iconic Tiger’s Nest Monastery (Taktsang).

Option 1: Paro Valley Sightseeing

Start your day with a visit to the National Museum, housed in the ancient Ta Dzong watchtower. The museum showcases a rich collection of Bhutanese art, artifacts, and historical relics.
