The journey begins with your arrival at Kathmandu airport, where you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel. Kathmandu, the vibrant capital of Nepal, offers a mix of ancient history and modern life. The following day is dedicated to sightseeing around the Kathmandu Valley, where you can explore UNESCO World Heritage Sites like Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), Boudhanath Stupa, and Pashupatinath Temple. This full day of exploration provides a glimpse into Nepal’s rich cultural heritage before setting off on the trekking adventure.

On the third day, you will embark on a scenic drive to Beni, situated at an altitude of 830 meters. This nine-hour journey takes you through lush valleys, terraced fields, and quaint villages, offering a preview of the landscapes you’ll be trekking through. Beni serves as the starting point for the trek, and you’ll spend the night here, preparing for the trek ahead.

The trek officially begins as you head from Beni to Darbang. The trail winds through charming villages and terraced fields, gradually ascending to 1070 meters. The 5-6 hour trek on this day allows you to acclimate to the trekking routine and enjoy the picturesque surroundings. Darbang is a small village where you’ll spend the night, experiencing the local hospitality.

From Darbang, the trek continues to Lamsung, located at 2250 meters. The trail becomes more challenging as you ascend, but the views of the surrounding hills and valleys make it worthwhile. The 4-5 hour trek through dense forests and quaint villages brings you closer to the heart of the Guerrilla Trekking route. Lamsung is known for its serene environment and traditional Magar culture, offering a unique insight into the local way of life.

The next destination is Gurjaghat, situated at 3015 meters. This segment of the trek is one of the highlights, as you traverse high pasture lands and enjoy panoramic views of Mt. Dhaulagiri. The 5-6 hour trek is both challenging and rewarding, with the trail passing through rhododendron forests and alpine meadows. Gurjaghat is a beautiful spot for overnight camping, surrounded by stunning natural beauty.

The journey then takes you to Dhorpatan, the only hunting reserve in Nepal, located at an altitude of 2870 meters. The 4-5 hour trek to Dhorpatan offers a unique experience, combining trekking with the opportunity to learn about the region’s wildlife conservation efforts. The Dhorpatan Hunting Reserve is home to various species of flora and fauna, making it a fascinating stop on the trek. From Dhorpatan, the trek continues to Nisel Dhor, situated at 2620 meters. This part of the trek involves a 4-5 hour walk through picturesque landscapes, traditional villages, and dense forests. Nisel Dhor is a small village where you’ll spend the night, experiencing the local culture and hospitality.

The following day’s trek takes you to Taka, located at 2185 meters. This 6-7 hour trek is one of the longer segments, but the varied landscapes and cultural encounters make it worthwhile. The trail passes through dense forests, alpine meadows, and traditional Magar villages, offering a deep insight into the local way of life. You’ll spend the night in Taka, enjoying the warmth and hospitality of the local people.

From Taka, the trek continues to Lukum, situated at 2095 meters. The 5-6 hour trek takes you through picturesque landscapes, dense forests, and traditional villages. The trail offers stunning views of the surrounding hills and valleys, providing ample opportunities for photography and relaxation. Lukum is a small village where you’ll spend the night, experiencing the local culture and hospitality.

The next day’s trek takes you to Thawang, located at 1975 meters. This 4-5 hour trek is relatively easy, with the trail passing through dense forests, alpine meadows, and traditional Magar villages. Thawang is a culturally significant village, known for its role in the Maoist insurgency. You’ll spend the night in Thawang, learning about its unique history and culture.

From Thawang, the trek continues to Jaljala, situated at 3090 meters. The 4-5 hour trek involves a steep ascent, but the views from the Jaljala Pass make it worthwhile. The pass offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys, providing ample opportunities for photography and relaxation. You’ll spend the night in Jaljala, enjoying the tranquil environment.

The following day’s trek takes you to Jelbang, located at 1635 meters. The 4-5 hour trek involves a steep descent, with the trail passing through dense forests and traditional villages. Jelbang is a small village where you’ll spend the night, experiencing the local culture and hospitality.

From Jelbang, the trek continues to Suliochaur, situated at 830 meters. The 5-6 hour trek involves a steep descent, with the trail passing through dense forests and traditional villages. Suliochaur is a small village where you’ll spend the night, experiencing the local culture and hospitality.

On the penultimate day, you’ll drive from Sulichaur to Kathmandu, a journey of 9-10 hours. The drive takes you through stunning landscapes, offering a final glimpse of the beauty of Nepal. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you’ll be transferred to your hotel, where you can relax and reflect on the unforgettable journey.

The final day is a leisure day in Kathmandu, allowing you to explore the city at your own pace, do some last-minute shopping, or simply relax. In the evening, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your final departure, taking with you memories of an incredible adventure.

The Guerrilla Trekking package includes several amenities to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable journey. These include airport pick-up and drop-off services, three nights of hotel accommodation in Kathmandu with a bed and breakfast plan, guided city tours, experienced guides and porters, necessary trekking permits, all meals during the trek, a trekking map for each person, and all ground transportation. Additional services such as travel insurance, trekking equipment, tips, donations, and city sightseeing entry fees are not included in the package.
