Travel Insurance

Hiking in the Langtang region takes place at a high elevation. There are challenging and unusual treks in this mostly deserted area. Travel insurance is essential in this location. Travel insurance is a vital safety net for visitors and hikers. Travel insurance must cover any medical emergencies, lost luggage, emergency evacuations, flight cancellations, and altitudes higher than 3000 metres.

Difficulty

The walk across the Langtang region can be a little difficult. The routes are undeveloped, rough, and off the main trail. The multiple ascents and descents make trekking more challenging for hikers. The hike is particularly difficult because of the high heights, fluctuating temperatures, and lack of substantial facilities.

However, with the appropriate planning and assistance prior to the walk, this excursion in the Langtang region is achievable. We recommend that you start physical activities, such as working out, taking day walks, and getting physically ready, several months prior to starting the adventure. Also, undergo the necessary medical screenings before going on a high-altitude walk. You can totally depend on our guidance and assistance during the adventure.

Altitude Sickness and Acclimatization

Acclimatisation rest is necessary on a trek. Make good use of the days set aside for acclimatisation relaxation by touring the area and taking a few short hikes. It facilitates environment adaption and helps avoid altitude sickness. Altitude sickness in mountains is prevalent. It could happen to anyone. Treatment options for altitude sickness include recognising its symptoms and taking appropriate precautions to avoid it.
