One of the most well-liked hiking peaks in Nepal is Lobuche East Peak. It is situated within the Everest Khumbu Himalayan range at a height of 6,119 metres (20,062 feet) above sea level. From here, you have excellent views of Tawache Peak, Kantega Peak, Thamserku, Cholaste, and Amadablam. This summit is visually appealing and has a variety of climbing routes. Since Lobuche East Peak is made up of multiple smaller summits and the true summit, which must be reached by ascending steep snow and ice slopes from the summit ridge, the typical climbing route is through South Ridge.
You will be treated to breathtaking views of the Khumbu Valley’s many 6000-meter peaks, including Lhotse Face and Mount Everest. This expertly planned schedule takes us to Kalapattar, the Everest base camp, and finally Lobuche Peak, providing ample time for us to acclimatise and enjoy an appealing vista for our break. We walk up to the Lobuche peak base camp after returning to Lobuche town from the Everest base camp, which offers sweeping views of the Himalayas. At 4,950 metres, close to a lake in a rocky gully at the foot of the glaciated South-West Face, the base camp will be established. We ascend high snow slopes and stone terraces.
After obtaining a trekking permit and leaving Kathmandu, your exciting journey officially begins. You will then take a 35-minute flight over the breathtaking Himalayan range and land in the historic settlement of Lukla, which serves as the entry point to Mount Everest. Starting from this charming and historic village, the trek to Lobuche East Peak takes you through a number of historically significant villages, including Dingboche, the highest Sherpa village in the area, Tengboche, home to a significant Buddhist monastery, Namche Bazaar, the well-known ancient trading post between Nepal and Tibet, and Tengboche. There will be plenty of opportunity for brief acclimatisation trips throughout your trek, which will also provide once-in-a-lifetime photo opportunities.
April and May are the best and most ideal times to hike or climb Lobuche’s rocky peak; September, October, and November are the best months. For both individuals and groups with little or no climbing expertise, RT Adventures provides guided climbing trips to the Lobuche East peak. If you have previously experienced any summertime 6000-meter peaks, be prepared for the fact that Lobuche East mountain is more difficult and well-liked than the other mountain. Climbing Lobuche East Peak is not just for novices; mountaineering skills and some prior experience are needed for a successful summit.
There will be one Sherpa porter (one porter for every two trekkers) and one leader for every trek. The purpose of this structure is to ensure that the campaign runs smoothly. It guarantees that, should anyone in the group become unwell, the tour will proceed according to schedule. This hike can be led by RT for any size group. However, ten people is seen to be the ideal group size. But, RT can also set this up if your group numbers more than ten.
We will stay at local tea houses every night while on our walk. For this trek, all lodging will be shared by twins. Single rooms, however, can also be provided upon request for an extra $300 to $350 US. If there are locations where single rooms are not available, you will need to make alterations.
We will eat a variety of ethnic and foreign foods, including Tibetan, Continental, Italian, and Indian cuisines, in addition to traditional Nepalese cuisine while on our trip. You can also indulge in a range of nibbles, hot chocolates, and breads and drinks.
According to its menu, breakfast will be provided in the same tea house or lodge where we spent the night. Dinner will be served in the tea house where you spend the night, and lunch will be served the route to your destination. During our time in Kathmandu, we will be offered breakfasts, a welcome dinner, and a farewell meal.
You will receive a Nepalese visa upon arrival. You will receive a 15–5 month tourist visa upon arrival in Nepal. Depending on why you are visiting, you will be granted a 15- to 3-month visa for tours.
You must provide a photocopy of your passport and two passport-sized photos in order to go trekking.
