Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel

You arrive in Kathmandu today. You will be picked up from the airport by a representative of our firm, who will then take you to your accommodation. You will be allowed to explore some of the local markets and fairs, based on when you arrive in Kathmandu and your preferences. Spend the night at a Kathmandu hotel with three stars.

Day 2 Preparation, briefings, shopping, and formalities for the permit

Days two and three will be spent getting ready for the summit trek. For this, a representative from our organisation will come to your hotel and help you get to know the excursion and its itinerary. The backpacks will also be handled, and if you need to shop, you can do so at the nearby marketplaces. However, the employees of the company will try to obtain all necessary licences for the Everest summit adventure.

Day 3 Preparation, briefings, shopping, and formalities for the permit

You will get ready for the summit adventure over the second and third days. In order to help you comprehend the adventure and its itinerary, a representative from our organisation will meet you at your hotel. The backpacks will also be handled, and you are welcome to shop in the neighbourhood markets if necessary. In contrast, the company members will work towards obtaining the necessary licences for the Everest summit trip.

Day 4 Fly to Lukla and trek to Phakding

You are now officially on your way to reaching the summit of Mount Everest. This day will involve a flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, followed by a trek from Lukla to Phakding. Along the way, you will see a variety of mountain peaks and ranges, hills, airports (both Tribhuvan International Airport and Lukla Airport), cascades and springs, stone-paved steps, forest trails, side-flowing rivers, delicious local and western cuisine, local residents and their customs, traditions, and way of life, and more. Spend the night at the Phakding resort.

Day 5 Trek to Namche Bazaar

Following an early breakfast at the Phakding lodge today, you will head in the direction of Namche Bazaar. The oak, pine, and rhododendron forest can be reached by strolling up and down hills, which will lead to Namche Bazaar after passing through Monjo. The entrance to Sagarmatha National Park is located in Monjo. Tucked up next to Lhotse, Nuptse, and Kusum Kanguru, the first-best vista of Mount Everest is found a short distance uphill from Monjo. Spend the night at a Namche Bazaar hotel.

Day 6 Rest & acclimatization at Namche Bazaar / Explore Hotel Everest View

The first day of acclimatisation for this Mount Everest trek is today. You have two options for spending this day: either spend the entire day relaxing at a hotel or visit stunning panorama locations like Khumjung, Khunde, and Khongde, which provide breathtaking views of numerous mountains, including Mount Everest. Similar to this, exploring Namche Bazaar includes going to places like neighbourhood restaurants, bakeries, bistros, stores, clinics, dental offices, government health offices, water supply, internet cafes, mail stations, Sagarmatha National Park headquarters, cloisters, and so on. Another option is to trek uphill for 30 to 35 minutes to arrive to Hotel Everest View (Syangboche), where you may savour cuisine while taking in the best views of tropical greenery, Mount Everest, and the surrounding mountains. Day 7 Trek to Tengboche / Explore Buddhist Monastery

On this day, you will travel from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche following an early breakfast. You will walk along the Dudh Koshi River’s side as you ascend to 3,250 metres, passing through birch and rhododendron forests that are home to wildlife such as the Himalayan Thar, spotted deer, peacock, and Danphe (Lophophorus, Nepal’s national bird). You will go through several locations along the way, including Phunki Thenga, Imja Khola Valley, Sanasa, and Tengboche, with frequent ascents and descents. Tengboche offers both monastery tours and chanting opportunities. Spend the night in Tengboche’s teahouse or lodge.

Day 8 Trek to Dingboche

Day 9 Rest & acclimatization at Dingboche

For those climbing Everest, this is the second acclimatisation station. You will have an early breakfast at the hotel today to start the day. Following that, you will tour Dingboche hamlet while ascending the north ridge and taking in the breathtaking views of Ama Dablam and the surrounding mountains. As part of an expedition, you can also take a quick walk up to Nagarjuna Danda, or the hill. In a similar vein, you can visit a French bakery and partake in their baked goods. Day 10 Trek to Lobuche

You will begin your trip today after breakfast and pass via the settlements of Dhugla, Dusa, Phungo Karpo, and Lobuche. Along the route, you will be treated to breathtaking views of numerous high mountains, including the Mahalungar range, Khumbutse, Pumori, Lingtren, and Mount Everest. Similarly, you can reach Lobuche by hiking along the riverbank, the Khumbu glacier, ridges, suspension bridges, and severe uphill and downhill paths. Along the way, you will be treated to the ethereal sight of mountains such as Mahalangur, Pumori, Khumbutse, and others, surrounded by a tropical scenery of hills, streams, rivers, waterfalls, cascades, and sparsely populated local areas. Spend the night in a Gorakshep tea house.

Day 12 Trek to Everest base camp

Following your breakfast at Gorakshep, you will ascend in the direction of Everest base camp. The trip from Gorakshep to Everest base camp would take two to three hours. Ascending the northern flank of Mount Everest will provide you with vistas of nearby peaks such as Lingtren, Khumbutse, Pumori, Nuptse, and so on. Reaching Everest base camp requires going across the Changri glacier, which is up and somewhat downhill. Spend the night in tented camps at the base of Everest.

Day 13 Day 13 to Day 56: Climbing period of Mt Everest summit from the day

Today onwards, for upcoming days, you will expedite towards Mount Everest Summit (8,848.86 meters). You will have estimated days of around 44 days to complete the summit and reach back to the base camp (5,380 meters). Acquired days can fluctuate which may lead to a delay in the summiting too.

In the midst of the expedition, you will cross Camp I (6,065 meters), Camp II (6,500 meters), Camp III (7,470 meters), camp IV (7,920 meters), and the south summit (8,690 meters). Camp IV is also known as the DEATH ZONE on Everest. Continuing the summit expedition, you will walk through steep snowy sections, ridges, deep crevasses, energy-draining points (Yellow Band and Geneva Spur), Balcony, Hillary Step, and so on. During the trial, you will encounter a number of climbers in different parts trying to cross different parts of the Everest expedition path. There will be a high chance of avalanches around camp III, so you will need to be careful about it. Also, the snow bridges of around 60 meters drop can be deadly during the venture. Throughout this Everest climbing period, you will be staying on tented camps.

Day 57 Trek down to Gorakshep

It also offers views of towering mountains, gompas, monasteries, Chortens, Mani walls, memorials, health posts, and municipal offices. Day 61 Trek to Lukla

Today, the trail descends to Lukla, a distance of 13.5 kilometres, passing through elevations ranging from 2,860 metres (Lukla) to 3,440 metres (Namche Bazaar). This day’s hiking trail follows an active stroll along a sandy path. The trail is hampered by some steep areas and a stunning vantage point over the surroundings. You will pass through several camps as you make your way uphill from the base camp and back to it. This is a brief synopsis of what you will be doing to carry out the project:

  1. The base camp of Mount Everest is located at 5,380 metres (17,700 ft) above sea level. This basic Everest base camp will be your home while you recover and acclimatise. Once you are comfortable, carry on with the ascent.
  2. Camp I: 6,065 metres (19,900 ft) above sea level. You will need to use garden stepladders to traverse the deep crevasses in the Khumbu icefall in order to get to camp I. Once you make it through and make it through the dangerous terrain, you will arrive at camp I. At camp I, you will receive necessary relief; when you are prepared, you will climb farther towards camp II.
  3. Camp II: 6,500 metres (21,300 ft) above sea level is its altitude. There is a greater risk of heavy snowfall and the possibility of 60-meter (100-foot) snow bridges in camp II, where the temperature is significantly higher.
  4. Camp III: The elevation of this location is 24,500 feet/7,470 metres above sea level. With the aid of fixed-rope climbs on the ridges and gentle ascents, you will be travelling from camp II to camp II. There may be a lot of climbers in this location, and the route can be a bit difficult. Avalanches are also very likely to occur in this location.
  5. Camp IV: 7,920 metres (26,000 ft) above sea level. You will pass the energy-draining barriers known as the “Geneva Spur” and the “Yellow Band” on the trail that separates Camp IV from Camp III. Once you have overcome these two obstacles, you will need to grab oxygen canisters or cylinders to carry on with the journey.
  6. South Summit: It is located 28,500 feet (8690 metres) above sea level. You will ascend from camp IV over several difficult portions to reach the south summit, which is around 1.5 kilometres away.
  7. Mount Everest Summit: The distance between the south summit and Mount Everest top is approximately 1.5 kilometres, and it will take a maximum of 12 hours to cover. You will pass through the “Balcony,” avoid the “Hillary Step” and the “Summit Ridge” en route, and ultimately arrive at the summit of Everest, which is situated at an elevation of 8848.86 metres.

Tips For Mount Everest Expedition
