The trail continues to climb until it reaches a simple, flat area. Eventually we reach the riverside Sherpa settlement of Beding.

Day 6 Trek Beding to Na

Duration: five hours

Peak Elevation (4,180 meters/13710 feet)

Our hike for today starts with a leisurely stroll along the Rolwaling River’s north bank.We go by the Beding summer village, where residents are working in their barley and buckwheat fields and a few yaks are grazing. To the left of the village rises the crestline made up of 6000ers like Konyklemo, Bamango, and Chekigo. We reach a monastery that is thought to be the Buddhist teacher Padma Sambhava’s seat of meditation. After following the valley bottom, we eventually arrive in Na, a summer town encircled by potato farms.

Day 7 Trek Na to Tso Rolpa Lake

Seven hours in length

Peak Elevation (4,588 meters/15048 feet)

Start your journey on the levelled plane and progressively climb to see the Himalayan Lake, which is full of the glaciers’ icy water. The Menlung and Tibetan Side Mountains views accentuate the splendour of the developing scene. We walk down the river’s right bank before fording it to ascend the stony glacier lateral moraine. The next night, we walk to Tso Rolpa.

Day 8 Tso Rolpa to Trakarding Glacier

Four hours in length

Peak Elevation (4800 meters/15744 feet)

Trekking in the early morning to reach the Trakarding glacier. Throughout the day, stroll past the glaciers and take in the grandeur of the surroundings. Even with this gentle walking on the glacier moraine and occasional overhanging rock faces, the track will still be climbing.

Day 9 Trek to Tashi Lapcha Base Camp

Duration: five hours

Top Altitude: 5,010 metres, or 16432 feet

To avoid the bottom portion of the glacier, the route acclimates to high slopes above it; however, to ascend even farther, we must hike along the centre of the rough, stony glacier. We reach the base of the icefall via a steady stroll, and from there we ascend to the most accessible spot to reach the Drolambau glacier. We shall be surrounded by breathtaking views of lofty mountains here.As we descend further, we camp in Tashi Lapcha Pedi Camp at the base of Tashi Lapcha, which is encircled by incredibly majestic mountains rising to a height of 6000 metres and offering a 360-degree view.

Day 11 Ascension Pachermo - Thengpo

Peak Elevation (6272 meters/20572 feet) / (4370 metres)

We resume our trek to Trashi Lapcha’s neck, from whence we begin our ascent of Pachermo. We reach the last crest by way of the snow slopes, which occasionally call for fixed ropes. Take in the breathtaking views of the Khumbu peaks, which include Makalu and Everest, from the Pachermo top.Go down to Col and then Thengpo. It takes roughly five to six hours to climb Pachermo, and a another three to four hours to descend to Thengpo.

Day 12 Leisure Day

This day is utilised as a backup as there is no guarantee that we will have particularly nice weather on the day we have scheduled for the Parchemo summit.Should the weather turn extremely unfavourable, we will need to prudently postpone our plan to reach the summit.Occasionally, a group member may experience difficulties adjusting sufficiently; in that case, the day can still be utilised.

Day 13 Trek to Thame

Duration: five hours

Peak Elevation: 3,820 meters/12530 feet

The higher portion of the hamlet is home to an extremely old and fascinating monastery. You can now catch a peek of the first truly amazing views of the major Khumbu peaks, which include Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, and Kusum Kangaru.

Day 14 Trek to Namche Bazaar

Duration: five hours

Peak Elevation (3,440 metres)

The ancient trade route into Tibet, which used to cross the Nangpa-la, splits off at Thame and heads north along the Bhote Koshi, which is also the name of the river that runs parallel to this trip. The path drops gradually at first, then sharply to a bridge at Phunki Tenga that crosses the Dudh Koshi River. After passing through a number of villages and tea stores, the trail climbs sharply to Sanasa, where the Tibetan items are sold by the local Sherpa people. Little ups and downs with views of the mountains, forests, and scenery can be found throughout the route from Sanasa to Namche.

Day 15 Trek Namche to Lukla

Highest Altitude(2,840m)

The trail descends steeply downward so we need to walk slowly and under control as our shaky legs continuously battle the rocky terrain. After crossing the suspension bridges over the fast flowing Dudh Koshi and its tributaries the trail becomes more level and natural. Although we are travelling the same route down, we feel completely different views. We snap a mixture of open plains, rhododendron and pine forests, and in the distance snow covered peaks. We walk through the Sherpa villages’ noticing impressive faith in Buddhism and culture of prayer stones and prayers flag while we walk through the villages. On arrival in Lukla, we stretch those sore legs and recall the experiences of the last couple of weeks. We experience the culmination of a fantastic trek on a happy note with everyone back safe and sound with smile on their faces.

Day 16 Flight: Lukla - Kathmandu. Hotel Overnight.

We return to Kathmandu via air after our exhausting mountainous adventure. We land in Kathmandu in the early hours of the morning. You are welcome to stay in your hotel and unwind all day. If you would like to bring some gifts from Nepal to your friends and family, you can either do it yourself or have our guides help you purchase for typical Nepalese items in Thamel or one of the surrounding shops. Trip Overview

Upper Rolwaling Trekking

The Rolwaling Trek provides an amazing viewpoint of the Himalayas, which extend along the finger land’s northeastern edge and jut into Tibet to the northeast of the Kodari-Lhasa-Kathmandu Parkway. It forms the northern edge of an untamed, lovely valley beneath a series of precisely 50 crests that span more than 6000 metres. The pinnacles of Melungtse I (7181m) and II (7023m) in Tibet and the double pinnacles of Gaurishankar (7,145m/23,475ft) on the periphery are responsible for the Upper Rolwaling Trek.

The Rolwaling Khola and its several tributaries support the Upper Rolwaling trek, which is located in the adjacent valley and has a few small settlements, the largest of which is at Bedding. This 2,179 square km area was designated as the Gaurishankar Conservation Area in 2010 and became a protected area. There are precisely 58,000 people living there, with the Tamang people making up the largest group, followed by the Sherpa and Chhetri people.

Our 16-day Upper Rolwaling trip begins with a magnificent drive east of Kathmandu along the 106 km fellowship thruway, passing through breathtaking scenery as we approach the border town. We exit the primary motorway at Khadichur, after another 50 km, and continue eastward until we reach Charikot Dolakha, where the transportation ends. From this point on, our trail varies, often rather steeply, between wide ridges and the confluence of streams, linking picturesque towns of Chhetri, Sherpa, and Tamang.

There are several suspension bridges that stretch across breathtaking chasms to shorten the distances. The route winds through ancient forests of pine, oak, and rhododendron, interspersed with terraced fields surrounding the settlements. There may be excellent views of Gaurishankar and its satellite pinnacles from the top of Daldung La (3900m). The breathtaking Tsho Rolpa, an ice lake hidden behind its terminal moraine, is located past Na, the final Kharka (summer touching town). There is legitimate concern that rising temperatures in the nearby region and softer waters may cause the moraine to burst, wreaking havoc downstream due to environmental change in the Rolwaling trekking area. The lake is being permanently dammed.

At that point, the Upper Rolwaling Trek’s straightforward route goes beyond the Trakarding Glacier and climbs up onto the Drolambau Glacier. The Teshi Lapche La (5755m) on the Slants of Patcham is the trek’s most notable destination. One of the most amazing trekking passes in Nepal, it rises through a glaciated wilderness surrounded by icy pinnacles, such as Tengi Ragi Tau (6943m), Bisphero Go Shar (6729m), and Dragkar (6793m). Situated around 300 metres below the mountain, the steep descent leads to the campground. From this point on, the trail descends sharply into the Solukhumbu to connect with the old Tibetan railway route that leads to the marshes via Namche Bazaar. Because of this, the higher Rolwaling trek ends at Lukla, and a return trip to Kathmandu is arranged.

Meal During Upper Rolwaling Trekking

A significant aspect of holidays is eating. When you go with Mountain Mart Trek, you can sample a wide variety of delicious cuisine, including Chinese, Italian, Continental, Nepalese, and some local cuisines. Dinner, lunch, and breakfast are included in the package. On your walk, your guide will suggest tasty, hygienic, and exceptional food at every location. Owners of mountain cafés tend not to provide a lot of food and squander it since they would prefer to feed more hikers with less supplies before they become stuck and leave. It may take doormen and processions up to seven days of hard labour to deliver food to these locations. Normally, on this walk, you will have dinner at a lodge of a comparable calibre and have lunch at one of the trailside cafés.

Accommodation During Upper Rolwaling Trekking

Upper-Rolwaling-Trekking

A tea house combines the functions of a guest house, café, and hangout for people. Most Tea Houses have private rooms available, while some at high elevations will only have dwellings. The motels are really essential. The rooms are spacious, including twin beds and almost no more furniture. Covers are typically provided. The massive lounge/relax space is heated by the Bukhara stove, which is an iron chamber with a fireplace channel and a log fire ignited inside. Unless the village has hydroelectric power, the rooms are usually dark without electricity. Generally, the lighting in the lounge area is based on sunshine.

These days, the majority of teahouses include electricity to charge small devices like cameras and cell phones; however, there may be a small fee for this service.

Group Size

We believe that a party of no more than 12 people is the perfect number to do the trip with. On the other hand, we can arrange such a trip for groups upon request and have already set up the plan for sizable employee and student groups. Professional local leaders, guides, porters, and assistant guides (if needed) accompany all of our trekking programmes and make sure you are safe and comfortable during the entire trip.
