Day 1 Arrival in Paro and Drive to Thimphu

Your journey begins with a breathtaking flight over the Himalayas, offering panoramic views of some of the highest peaks, including Mount Everest, if the weather permits. Upon arrival at Paro Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan.

In Thimphu, your first stop will be the Kuenselcholing View Point, home to a giant Buddha statue and offering a stunning overview of the Thimphu Valley. Next, visit the Memorial Chorten, a prominent landmark that is a center of daily worship for the Bhutanese people. Day 2 Drive to Paro and Hike to Tiger's Nest Monastery

After breakfast, you will drive back to Paro for a full-day sightseeing tour of the Paro Valley. The highlight of the day is a visit to the iconic Tiger’s Nest Monastery (Taktsang), one of Bhutan’s most famous landmarks. Perched on the edge of a cliff, the monastery offers breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere. The hike to Tiger’s Nest can be challenging but rewarding, with an option to ride a horse partway up the trail.

Following your visit to Tiger’s Nest, explore the National Museum housed in the Ta Dzong (watchtower). The museum offers a fascinating collection of Bhutanese art, artifacts, and exhibits on Bhutan’s rich cultural history.
